also a bit of a lesson in this one too. "The simplest which are usually over looked, should not be underestimated. :)
For all whome are experiance the ports not showing, please ensure the ports are active (doing something sending or receiving traffic) when you run your port scanner. and to everyone, i put my hand up and apologize that i did not think of this earlier,

Have you tried the latest firmware? (it's v 1.0.1.7f)
I have searched the router manual and Google but I cant find any information on the following.
I have forwarded ports for Nero MediaHome but it doesnt work (whereas it did with my previous DLink router). My TV and phone can see Nero MediaHome but cannot connect to the server. I have tried TVersity and forwarded ports and straight away the TV and phone picked that up, so my first question is: does this router not support Nero MediaHome 4? In your opinion what is the best Media Server to use?
Secondly, Which MAC filter should I use? I used to have MAC filtering on my previous DLink router. On the Asus, there is 1) Wireless - wireless MAC filter (5 Ghz). 2) Wireless - wireless MAC filter (2.4 Ghz). 3) Mac Filter - (Under Firewall)
Which MAC filter should I use? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
