About anoukvandijk dc
Anouk van Dijk is one of Holland's leading contemporary choreographers. After a 10 year dance career with companies such as the Rotterdam Dance Group and Amanda Miller's Pretty Ugly Dance Company, Anouk van Dijk has since 1996 been dedicating herself exclusively to the creation of her own work. She founded her company anoukvandijk dc in 1998 and has since then been creating and presenting her work successfully all around the world. Anouk van Dijk trains her dancers in her own movement system; the Countertechnique. This technique enables the dancers to perform her demanding movement material in a breathtaking way.
