Andy Roberts is a singer songwriter and weekly podcast performer in the British contemporary folk song style.

Mostly original songs with some covers. Acoustic and 12 string acoustic guitar finger picking and flat picking, also occasional Chinese lute and Turkish Saz. Influenced by Roy Harper, Loudon Wainwright, Steeleye Span + Captain Beefheart.

Ok, so I keep changing my musical activities online as the mood takes me. I've uploaded plenty of videos here taken by Linda at my floor spot performances for Havering Folk Club, and now Romford Folk Club. Others are taken from the weekly podcast recording webcast event, which started in August 2010 and continues with the occasion break right up until episode 99 which should be around summer or autumn 2012.

I also originated an online community called the Songwriters Circle which allows songwriters to get together and practice songwriting, find collaborative partners, do weekly or monthly Challenge excercises and learn more about the craft of writing songs in as supportive environment.
