adidas Presents Its Third Generation F50 TUNit Football Boot
adidas unveiled the F50 TUNiT boot with the support of numerous football stars at the Centre Conventiones International Barcelona (CCIB), Spain. FC Barcelona player Lionel Messi, Real Madrid player Arjen Robben and other footballers from top European leagues built their own F50 football boots on stage from individual components. The new boot is the third generation of the F50 concept and features both modularity and the new transparent "AllesKlar" ("All Clear") element. Football players will start wearing the new F50.8 TUNiT boot on the pitch from 19 February 2008.

London 2012 Welcomes adidas as Tier One Partner of the 2012
[20-Sep-2007] London 2012 has named adidas as a Tier One Partner for London 2012 in the sportswear category. To celebrate the announcement, London landmarks were transformed into sports venues and top sports stars including Tyson Gay, Allyson Felix, Nadia Comaneci, Paralympic hopeful Shelley Woods and Shanaze Reid participated in the launch event. The deal, the biggest ever single event sponsorship investment by adidas in the UK, gives adidas marketing and licensing rights to London 2012. The sportswear company will provide kits for the British Olympic Association and British Paralympic Association in Vancouver 2010 and London 2012. Games officials, London 2012 staff and volunteers will also be kitted with adidas sportswear during the Games.
