A question for your regarding an opinion you rendered to Commissioner Sylvia Poitier, back in March of this year, regarding her vote on the $30,000 WDBA funding. To refresh your memory, you indicated that Poitier had no ethical issues (ha!) regarding a vote on the funding since her daughter was an unpaid volunteer. On the video, Poitier indicated you called the State for direction.
Regarding that opinion and your conversation of, my questions to you are:
1. Did you request direction from the State on this issue?
2. Did Poitier indicate, or were you aware of her relationship (sister) to Mr. Lionel Ferguson?
3. Were you aware that the WDBA owed $74,000 to Ferguson?
4. If you were aware of Ferguson's interest in the WDBA, would you have advised Poitier any differently?
I would like your official opinion in this matter, and as you can see, I've taken the liberty, and saved you the time, by forwarding a copy of this email to Mr. Donnelly. I kindly ask that you reply to everyone with your answers.
