About Me:
When you want to talk about sodagreen's music, the first thing to notice is the lead vocal's special voice and the last thing you want to do is to categorize it. Their music is very intuitive and they do not follow any trend or style. Yet, its uniqueness has created its own category. From Radiohead to Madonna, from Bach to Debussy, from Teressa Deng to Faye Wang, they sure to have wide range of influence of different music styles.
At times, it takes some efforts to mix and match every one's distinguished musical taste into the final work. Some may argue that they're merely a mellow rock band with combination of ballads and rock numbers. Yet, their music is so different in many aspects and very sodagreenish. One of the distinctive musical diversities comes from the classical keyboardist, A Gong, who plays mostly piano and viola. He spices up sodagreen's music with a mixture of both classical and eclectic arrangements. This is an unique flavor that you cannot find in rest of the Taiwanese/Chinese pop music selections.
If there's a genre that fits well to sodagreen,
