WHAT IF THIS WAS YOUR DAUGHTER??? Brittany was buried on her 19th birthday. Over 1500 suspects ruled out with a DNA profile as of 6/21/08 National news has been written numerous times but no one will tell our story. Tell it Here! It takes more than 3 years for DNA to get into a national file like CODIS. That is only if the rapist is charged with a felony and many plead down. If rape was changed from a sexual offense to a violent offense (by def it is an act of violence) we would have less sex offenders on the outside and less escalation. We need this story national before more are killed. How many more daughters will we lose? I just finished the 2nd Caravanm to Catch a Killer where 17 media stories were done as if her story was about the "girl next door" HELP US TELL THE STORY. I STILL HAVE 30 STATES TO COVER IF NATIONAL DOES NOT PICK IT UP.

nocoldcase This can be a site for ours and other unsolved murders. For 3 1/2 years (now 6/21/08) no national news will publicize our story...not famous enough, not sensational enough. Local news is great, so is the detective...but 1500 suspects ruled out by DNA. Brittany was raped and murdered in the middle of the night in her apartment. We will not be silent.This site could be the giving of voice to those whose voices have been silenced.

My favorites The ongoing story of the unsolved mystery and murder of Brittany Phillips. Raped and suffocated Sept 30, 2004. As of 6/21/08 1500 suspects have been ruled out by DNA. Two Caravans To Catch a Killer have been done in my SUV wrapped with pictures and facts about her murder. The 2nd Caravan had 17 media interviews across the Southeast US. I have covered 20 states. These videos will update you on the continueing investigation of Brittany's Phillips' murder which occured in 2004 (9/28). She was raped and strangeled in her apartment in the middle of the night--no apparent forced entry. All males she knew have been ruled out by DNA comparison. We have ruled out 2000 possible regional suspects thru DNA comparison. These films and any added can be about DNA laws/states we try to change laws in. OK current fight-- You can send videoes re: murder, unsolved mysteries, problems w/national exposure. These are (so far) re: my CARAVAN TO CATCH A KILLER tours. I have done 5 since 10/14/07 have covered 23000 miles across 33 states and 54 reporters of 48 cities have told her story as if it was the girl next door. The last CARAVAN had 16 stories. We started with only6 stories on the 1st CARAVAN. Money on each trip has been hard but even if I limp home I finish. Britany's murder could happen to anyone if laws don't change. Our story has been in Europe-CHAT English Mag -08/20/08 but no national news. We had a small part i an article May 09 about living alone and featured the reporter in Arkansas murdered. We have been on 4-5 CARAVAN TO CATCH A KILLER tours and have covered 23,000 miles. 54 reporters have told Brittany's story across 33 states and within 48 cities. They tell the story as if she is the girl next door, because this could be anyone's child. She was murdered, raped and suffocated in the middle of the night in her apartment. Because we have ruled out 2000 suspects from DNA we know it was none she knew. Visit our websites to learn more. I always think I will have to end the caravan at least a week early but struggle through. I find it hard to ask for money. Everything still points to this being an important story because of DNA and rape laws needing to chnage. But national news still doesn't think so. Such good memories of all the CARAVANS. SHAME SHAME SHAME ON GOVERNORS SUCH AS SOUTH CAROLINA. Although house and senate passed bills for arrest and conviction DNA, twice the gov vetoed it. He says he is a libertarian but he doesn't allow the voice of the people when he vetoes somehting both house and senate passed in SOuth Carolina. We must do something to change the DNA backlog. 13 states are now taking DNA at arrest and putting it into an unsolved cases data base. right now from the time someone goes to prison it takes MORE THAN 3 YEARS FOR DNA TO COME UP INTO THE NATIONAL FILES TO BE COMPARED.I also have been researching rape laws and the problems with rape being classified as a sexual offense when by definition rape is a violent act with sex as the tool of violence. I am trying to find a senator or representative who will help push a bill to change rape to a violent offense with mandatory sentencing
