Stand for Marriage Maine is a broad-based coalition of Mainers who support the traditional definition of marriage between a man and a woman. When the Legislature passed LD 1020 to legalize homosexual marriage without the consent, input or, perhaps, knowledge of the people, more than 100,000 Mainers responded by qualifying the Peoples Veto for the November ballot to give voters the final say on restoring traditional marriage. By passing Question 1, we will restore the definition of marriage in Maine to what it should be a man and a woman. Please join us by voting YES on Question 1!
