Master Yu Guo Shun was born in 1957 in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China. He started learning Martial Arts - Long Chuan from his grandfather at the age of 7. In 1989, he was enrolled as a formal disciple of Chen style Tai Chi by the renowned eleventh generation Sifu Ma Hong. Sifu Ma Hong is one of the top ten Chen Style masters in China. Master Yu Guo Shun is deeply thankful for Sifu Ma Hong's untiring teaching.

Recognitions & Awards

Master Yu won numerous first prizes in Tai Chi Chuan, broadsword and long sword in Qingdao City, Shandong provinces local martial arts competition. In the Fifth international Open Martial Art Competition in Qingdao City, Shandong province, Master Yu dominated the event by winning first prizes in Tai Chi Chuan, broad sword and long sword. In 2005, Master Yu was invited to compete in a renowned International grand martial art event in Florida, which he also won first prizes in Tai Chi Chuan, broad sword and long sword. Later he repeated same success in Ohio and Maryland international martial art competition events.

Teaching History

Master Yu has been teaching Chen Style Tai Chi in the US for more than 5 years. Since 2008 numerous students of his have won first , second & third places in several renowned international martial art competitions in the state of Maryland, Ohio, and New Jersey and major cities of Las Vegas and New York. Awards include Chen styl Tai chi Chuan, broad sword, Long sword and push hands.
