About Me:

Our Place in the Universe -- Our home is the Earth. The Earth is a small and insignificant place when compared to the vastness of the Universe in which we live. We live on a planet that orbits a star called the Sun, and that star itself orbits the center of a galaxy, the Milky Way Galaxy, and that galaxy is composed of hundreds of billions of stars just like the Sun, and all those stars along with their solar systems, planets, comets, and asteroids which make up the galaxy are drifting endlessly through space along with billions of other galaxies which also happen to be made up of billions of stars, solar systems, planets, comets, and asteroids. Who are we to think that a God, or gods, made the entire Universe just for one species of one planet?

Great page. I am glad that you are helping spread knowledge of the universe. That is what Sagan was all about letting the average person learn about the cosmos. Sagan constantly reminds us that science needs to be in the hands of the people so not to relive the dreaded history of the fall of the library of Alexandria. I also own most of his books written by Carl Sagan. He is my favorite physicist.

Wonderful to see a channel devoted to promoting science education and honouring the legacy of Carl Sagan. He was an extraordinary scientist, skeptic and humanist.
