Here's a programming project I've been working on for the last couple months ... this melody generator tries to compose melodies by analyzing and mixing up already existing melodies. The output doesn't sound amazing by itself, but I like some of the ideas it comes up with. For example, I'd definitely use the first half of Melody 2 (at the end of the video).
