This video explores montage as a means of blending the differing sub-genres of ethnographic film post-social media (i.e. YouTube vlog, travelogue, memory-as-auto-ethnography, interview, informative explanation, natural vs. diegetic music) so as to explore the concept of an "auto-ethnographic simulacrum".
