is this one of those hermetic elite institution things?
the whole point of the youtube discourse is that it's generally childish and offensive, and it's that way because it is discourse de-privileged and un-domesticated. (calling eggleston a "fag," for instance). there is no need to try to neuter or censure the human presence, as though unbridled it might sully the work. any vision that can be spoiled by an interfering discourse is a false vision.
