Everything I dreamed of when I wrote my 1979 book on Personal Computing (http://www.amazon.com/Personal-Computing-Jim-Huffman/dp/083595515X/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1204742131&sr=8-3) has come true.

We can't just "chat" with the computer yet, but that day will come. We can make sounds that can allow interaction with our computers. Battery technology has evolved enough that we can relate more to the possibility of a robotic "companion."

We live lives with music machines and telecommunications equipment linking us to our friends and associates. Toy robots can respond primitively to touch, possess blurry vision like a newborn kitten and can "feel" the presence of a human through infra-red and other connective technologies.

For the time being, you can read about the robots in this video and all the vid's on the We R Bots channel, based on the proposition that most humans operate on very bot-like action reaction pairs. That's how you can have twenty years experience by repeating the same year twenty times. Life goes on, then your battery pack fails.

Now a friend and I are developing a new website: http://www.CwhatIcanDo.com. This site is (still) scheduled for a release in the fall of this year. It's already fall, but I'm still shooting for getting the job done by the end of November. When the site first opens to the public, we will be soliciting the best projects from the internet. These authors can become CwhatIcanDo authors since CwhatIcanDo licenses their work only for showing and the authors retain all other rights to their own creations.

Already, you may have noticed the favorites on this site are from CwhatIcanDoProjects on YouTube. We are getting ready.
