Whether you generate a kwh of energy or save a kwh of energy, the net result is the same. Since it costs a whole lot less money to SAVE the kwh of energy, do energy conservation measures FIRST. When you are as efficient as feasibly possible, THEN consider higher cost renewable generation.

The worst thing you can do is to first install high cost renewable generation (such as solar photovoltaic), and then only have this expensive energy go down a rat hole of energy waste if you use it to power inefficient equipment (such as incandescent light bulbs or Air Conditioning systems with SEER ratings less then 14).

We have the technology to easily cut usage by 20 to 40% or more through use of state of the art ultra high efficiency equipment. Do that FIRST, then
consider the much more expensive renewable generation. Simply make yourself as energy efficient as possible, THEN consider installing high cost generation technology.

When will poeple realize oil is cheap and we have plenty of it in our own back yard so why in the hell arent we using it?!?!?? So heres what i propose We can't solve it because its already solved!! All that we have to do is get rid of these environmental wackoes!!

oh and srry one more thing; yall should also make a comercial about hydroelectric, electric, or biofuel cars and tell people home much gas would go down if just like 10% of Americans used those types of cars and how much cheaper it would be to use those cars. you see these ideas i jsut had right here? i would love to share them on yall's website if yall had a comment page! plz do it!
