Earth Hour - On Saturday, March 27th at 8:30pm (local time), millions of people around the world, will once again literally turn off their lights for one hour -- Earth Hour -- delivering a statement about the need to take action on climate change before it's too late.

Nearly 1 billion people on all 7 continents turned off their lights for Earth Hour 2009. Major icons around the world including the Sydney Opera House, Coliseum in Rome, Golden Gate Bridge, Sears Tower and Empire State Building turned off their lights showing their support. The Google.com homepage as well as the Coca-Cola billboard in Times Square both turned out for Earth Hour 2009.
