About this user

Seeking truth, no matter what it might turn out to be. Reason and education is the way to go. Not guessing and hoping.

I am a mathematician and I teach and do research in mathematics at a university.

My goal here on youtube is to show the beauty of mathematics and how it is applied in real life. Science and technology is dependent on the fine minds that develope this fascinating subject.

If I can show only ONE person that mathematics is beautiful and meaningful (and not a monster under the bed), my task here on youtube is done. I would like to make mathematics available to as many as possible. I am aware of the fact that mathematics can be difficult, but I believe that most people can appreciate the importance of further research.

My goal is to teach, but even more to motivate!

If you hate the music in my videos, feel free to turn sound off. I do not own a mic or cam at the moment, and I make videos with music. I use the music that I listened to as I prepared the video and thought about how to present the mathematical ideas.

I also make some anti-creationist videos. I hate seeing science and mathematics abused.
