Belgian Phil Moon was already musically active int he past under the name of DJ Valium, releasing with DJ Hell's label Gigolo Records and he was also the first Belgian artist to release music out of Detroit, with Teknotika Records label of Gary Martin ( KMS Records )
Vdd Energize is a DJ and producer who was part of the global underground hardcore movement in the 90's and was one of the first people to promote the harder edged techno acid sounds in the Flanders region. At the age of 20 he visited 'Rave Explosion' and managed to get backstage and film the legendary 'Jeff Mills' performing his first dj set in Belgium to 2,000 partygoers!
His production career started after travelling to England, where he created his first tracks in a small studio in South London. Through the connections he made,bookings in the UK began to come in, most notably when he spun at London's Turnmills and Limelicht.
Back in Belgium his small studio grew in size and the productions he created were picked up, first by UK based techno label 'UFO London' and then by the renowned US hard techno imprint 'Drop Bass Network'.
Vdd put his hard techno adventures to one side temporarily as he spent time studying emotional intelligence books.
Through the connections he made with Bjorn Svin,bookings in Denmark began to come in, most notably when he spun at Copenhagen Mantra and Vega.
While spending more time on the DJ front under the guise of DJ Valium ( V° / Phil Moon ). his alter ego for somethimes innovative, minmal electro, tribal sounds and techno, releasing on Teknotika Records Detroit , Reload Records , Sativea , Diki , KK Records and on the highly renowned International DJ Gigolo records, topping this off with performances at the ' I Love Techno 2000 ', 10 days off and International DJ sets.
The 80's most definitely played a huge part in sculpting of his music style, but it was the 90's ..
Even a remix of Baroque music was not too much in 1994, taking Peter Greenaways 'Baby of Macon' and then making sure he heard it, much to his delight!

Similarly, Phil Moon has graced some of the best underground parties and events in the World with his DJ sets, taking in the shores of countries both on this and on the other side of the Atlantic.
