ROMANO-ARCHIVES has provided material for: Italian and International Broadcasters, Independent Production Companies, Business and Corporate Clients, Multimedia Markets, Museums and Expositions.
Since 2007 three of our videos are on permanent exhibit in New York City at The National Sports Museum. In 2009 ROMANO-ARCHIVES has provided a part of the Dada and Futurist films that were screened during the exhibition PRIMA DURANTE DOPO IL CINEMA FUTURISTA (BEFORE DURING AFTER THE FUTURIST CINEMA), performed from 15 to 23 October 2009 at La Galleria L'Agostiniana in Rome, Italy in the event "Risonanze del Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma" ("Resonances of the Rome International Film Festival"). In 2011 ROMANO-ARCHIVES signed the first contracts as footage provider with the Historic Channel of the Italian State Television RAI TV - RAI 3 La Grande Storia and with the German State Television ZDF.
Unlike other archives that simply act as footage resellers, ROMANO-ARCHIVES maintains an incomparable library of mostly unpublished historical footage offered at highly competitive rates. We also offer major discounts for clients with significant or ongoing footage needs.
We know our material really well so can save you time by pre-selecting or suggesting the right sort of footage for your show or project. We license our material on a non-exclusive basis and our charges are based on the license parameters required.
WE ARE JUST WAITING FOR YOUR INQUIRIES!

UNKNOWN WW2 IN COLOR
The Ultimate Source for
World War ll Color Footage
A NEW WAY TO LOOK AT WORLD WAR 2
World War ll has usually been seen in black and white, but our endless research has unearthed an abundance of superb color film that shows what it really looked like to those who were there.
The Author presents mainly WW2 recently declassified and other previously unavailable material. Weapons that were produced in such small numbers that they were known only to a few people or that were previously under security restrictions appear here for the first time. This Collection is also composed by videos showing many of the less known types of guns and vehicles used in WW2: suppressed weapons, secret weapons and numerous other weapons, including a wide range of different war planes.
Gun-camera footage, bombings and air-war are greatly represented, as well as naval and submarine warfare.
In this outstanding and unique Collection every single theatre of war is covered and footage captured to the enemy by the Allies is also listed, amateur films included.
Unknown World War 2 in Color is a stunning and vivid new account of the epic conflict.
In the Collection are also available 3 added color video sections about the last pre-war years, the immediate post-war and curiosities plus propaganda footage from various home fronts.

REPORTING DIRECTLY FROM THE PAST!
"In my opinion everything from the past is sacred. The past intrigues me most of the future. And I will continue to sustain that the future is a hypothesis, a conjecture, a guess. That is not a reality. At most, a hope to which we try to give substance with dreams and fantasies. The past is a certainty, a concreteness, a fact established. Consequently, every document in this Collection of rarely seen material from the key event of the XXth Century, this ocean of fire and blood called World War Two, is greatly valuable, because it brings with it an illusion of eternity. Because is a victory over time, which wears down and withers and kills. A defeat of the death.
Probably this War will never end."
