About Me:
The University of Rochester Medical Center's mission is to be one of the highest performing centers in the nation in patient care, teaching, research and community outreach. Annual research funding exceeds $230 million, placing the U of R Medical Center in the top quarter of U.S. institutions. The School of Nursing ranks sixth for research supported by the National Institutes of Health. The 4.4-million-square-foot main campus is comprised of the U of R School of Medicine and Dentistry, School of Nursing, Eastman Dental Center, and Strong Memorial Hospital, a 739-bed teaching hospital sought by patients throughout upstate New York. Signature programs include neuromedicine, cardiac and cancer care, and musculoskeletal services.
