I started singing when I was nine, beginning with the pop genre of NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, and Hanson. But being introduced to Country music in my earlier years by my parents, that Country spark struck back up again when I moved to Montana. I then competed in a Glenrock, WY talent show six years in a row, as well as started doing local competitions such as First Night Idol (Third Place), Colgate Country Showdowns (Second Place), and Montana Idol (First Place). My most recent achievement was being a top six national finalist in the hit show The Next GAC Star on the network GAC (Great American Country). As a finalist I was flown to Nashville twice for a two part televised finale to compete for a Gibson Hummingbird Guitar and a record deal with Original Signal Recordings. Unfortunately I didnt make top four, but I know that this was a big step being only 18 years old, and I know it was a once in a lifetime experience. I am attending the University of Montana currently with an undeclared major and I know now from the GAC experience what I have to work on before my next big step!
