About Me:
Started riding in May 2010. I bought a brand new bike first, got my permit and learned to ride. Took my MSF course and passed and got my license. Would I recommend going that route? No, only if you have riden before like I have. If you are a complete newb, please take a BRC course first to see if you are ready to ride a motorcycle.
- FAQ Section -
Q: What kind of camera and mic setup to you have for your vlogging?
A: I have a GoPro HD 1080p camera and a digital voice recorder. I hook the gopro to the outside of my helmet, bike, etc., and put mics inside my helmet so I can talk, then I sync both the audio from the digital voice recorder and video.
Q: Was the BRC MSF (Basic Rider Course, Motorcycle Safety Foundation) course hard?
A: No, it was not hard but it was a very long 3 days. You need to be in very good physical condition, be able to ride a bicycle, and have good balance.
Q: Can you fail the course?
A: The only way you can fail the course is if you are late, goof off, don't listen to the instructor, and so on. There was a guy in my class that could not get shifting down, or do any uturns, and he passed just fine.
Q: How tall are you?
A: 5'7ish
Q: What type of bike do you have?
A: Currently I have a 2012 Triumph Street Triple R 675. I used to have a 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250r. If you are smart and want to learn alot, please start on a smaller bike. Getting a 600 for your first bike might be pushing your boundaries. At least with a ninja250, they are always in demand and hold their value very well. Ride it for a year THEN update. Besides, getting 65 mpg is not bad either seeing gas is going up.
