In terms of momentum, the weaker a move is when a Fibonacci levels hits, the higher the odds are that it will react strongly to that level. For instance, looking back at Screen 6, this last 110 point move hit the 61.8% Fibonacci level very quickly. The same happened when it tested the 61.8% level on July 21st 2009 @ 1:00:00, this point the trend was very quick too and it held. When it hit the 61.8% retracement level, however, the trend was not only more extended thanks to all the times it was hit. Looking at Screen 3 (red 61.8% Fib line) buy off Fibonacci support or a short off a resistance level, such as the drop from the 61.8% level. For instance again, looking back at Screen 5 the drop from 61.8% was a short, but holding the 78.6% level (CNBC's failed head and shoulders pattern) was a BUY.
