(I know by the non-information and lies posted there, it's run by OSA with he as a front person, in case they get sued for libel).
That (SPL) was set up by the VP of C of $ to "Handle any and all black PR re Hubbard" at the time. Re these groups....that would be a good project for someone who wants to help, to just call or write them and ask (a) If they know they are on their site (( My ~guess~ is they do)) and (b) Let them know of their darker side (Which they no doubt Don't know)). Tory, I just looked at the Religious Freedom Watch (scientology website) and at the link to Relief Agencies, I found a list of all of these organizations. Do they even realize that they are linked to scientology? If they are aware, do they care? To what degree are these organizations serving as front groups or are they just "unknowing victims"? maubi1, I don't know enough to answer your questions. I know that the Co$ is very adept in civil court and often when they see the writing on the wall they settle for big bucks without admitting wrong doing. Civil lawyers are, for many good reasons, motivated to settle.

To paraphrase Sun Tzu It's good to understand and respect one's opponent (see Bob Minton).

Unless and until DOJ steps in I don't think we will see juries finding in favor of Plaintiffs in civil RICO cases and without DOJ we would never see convictions. However, I do hope and expect that recent lawsuits for human trafficking will increase the financial exposure and perhaps will bring about significant changes to the dynamics as they are now. The pace of events is promising to say the least

Tory, I always feel so sad when I remember poor Quentin Hubbard. He could be anyone's son. He was so very young, handsome, intelligent, and just loved flying and wanted to be an airline pilot. He had his whole life before him. In my opinion, his father caused his death, indirectly, because of LRon's hatred for homosexuals.

Thanks for the clarification, awatson. I googld scientology and RICO and saw a lot of RICO-based lawsuits against scientology. I didn't read them but I wonder if scientology or rather scientologists were ever convicted of racketeering (of which slavery is one criteria)? If so, has anyone every compiled all of the cases of scientologists successfully convicted of RICO-based crimes (besides Operation Snow White?)
