Classic song from the early days of Sesame Street. Written and animated by Pixar's Bud Luckey (he also sang the original on "The Count Counts!" LP), lyrics by Don Hadley, this version sung by Jerry Nelson.

From my site, The Sesame Street Lyrics Archive, enjoy!

One two three
Four five six
Seven eight nine
Ten eleven twelve
Came to the ladybugs' picnic

One two three
Four five six
Seven eight nine
Ten eleven twelve
And they all played games
At the ladybugs' picnic

They had twelve sacks so they ran sack races
And they fell on their backs and they fell on their faces
The ladybugs 12
At the ladybugs' picnic

They played jump rope but the rope it broke
So they just sat around telling knock-knock jokes
The ladybugs 12
At the ladybugs' picnic

One two three
Four five six
Seven eight nine
Ten eleven twelve
And they chatted away
At the ladybugs' picnic

They talked about the high price of furniture and rugs
And fire insurance for ladybugs
The ladybugs 12
At the ladybugs' picnic

'70s Kid Stuff Play

Odds and sods from my childhood as a '70s kid (I watched a LOT of TV, too, not just the kiddie shows!).

Includes memorable TV ads, "Free To Be ... You and Me", "Laugh-In", "The Brady Bunch", "The Partridge Family", "Lancelot Link", "Bugsy Malone", all kinds of groovy goodies.

The list starts with misc. clips, followed by ads, and then the TV shows/movies in alphabetical order.

The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (1962-1992) Play

This is the man every subsequent talk show host has tried to emulate. Bless 'em, but no one holds a candle to Johnny.

Travel back in time with me to when talk shows were fun and the PC police hadn't been born yet!

The list starts with compilations or other appearances, and is then sorted chronologically as best I could. Major props to the official site, johnnycarson dot com, for their guest star database (no longer available on the site, alas).

Sesame Street - 1 Play

Don't miss Part Two: http://bit.ly/15BU0Cs
Part Three: http://bit.ly/15BU6dw
Part Four: http://bit.ly/15BUcS8

Sesame Street goodies listed in alphabetical order by the official title (at least the ones I am aware of).

This list includes the classic "The Baker" and "The Number Painter" series, some of the Guy Smiley "Here Is Your Life" bits, some Roosevelt Franklin clips, and the two Christmas specials.

Mostly from the show's debut in 1969 through the '70s, with some overlaps to keep characters/songs together.

Muppet Musical Guests - 1 (A-G) Play

Just some of the classic musical performances from the Muppet empire. For now, this covers artists from A (Julie Andrews) to G (Arlo Guthrie) with a few misc clips at the start.

Don't miss Parts 2 (H-R) http://bit.ly/1bIRF6u and 3 (R-Z) http://bit.ly/1bIRHLz.

Sesame Street Celebs Play

Non-musical guests on The Street over the years, alphabetically sorted from Casey Affleck, Buzz Aldrin, and Maya Angelou to Robin Williams and Oprah Winfrey.

I added the duo of Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts to the start to avoid confusion and some overlaps with songs so the fans don't miss 'em (such as Adam Sandler).

Elton John 1 (A-D) Play

Collection of Elton and Elton-related videos (interviews, cover songs, etc.). I've been a fan for 40 years now; his music touches my soul, simple as that.

Alphabetically arranged, keep that in mind if you see an "untitled" video. After the misc. clips, this list covers titles from A ("Act of War") to D ("A Dream Come True"). Don't miss Playlists Two and Three!

I've also added the original and demo audio versions (when available), so you can hear what I heard back then. He was a musical revelation to me, thought they added a nice historic touch.

PLEASE NOTE: Currently having massive problems with repeating "notes" on the playlist. Where you see the same info (such as "with George Michael") repeated three times, trust me, I only wrote it once! Grrrrr ....

Harry Chapin (1942 - 1981) Play

Collection of Harry Chapin related videos. You may know him from "Taxi" or "Cat's In The Cradle", but he was much more and we lost him far too soon, I still miss him like crazy.

Major props to tragnilrats for filling in the blanks with his fantastic covers and to SongsofHarry for keeping his spirit alive!

Misc. videos at the start, then all songs listed alphabetically from A (Anthem) to Y (You Own the Only Light).

Kate Bush Play

The genius and glory that is Kate Bush! Songs are listed alphabetically (remember that if you see an untitled link) from "Aerial" to "You Want Alchemy".

Major props to KateBushMusic, her official channel, for finally getting their fingers out and sharing the goodies! :-)

Interviews and award show appearances have been moved to their own list: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpJQchzRXuUfwkOEsauo1ExkuWm96-Nha
