Improve the performance and fuel mileage of your H-D® motorcycle without compromising over-all power output.

Have access to make adjustments to your system without a masters degree in electronics and computers.
About Me:

The ThunderMax EFI System with AutoTune is purpose-built to deliver uncompromising performance, and you dont have to be a rocket scientist to install it, program it or make adjustments. The ThunderMax system is a Wide-Band, Closed-Loop system which means it continually and automatically adjusts your air-fuel ratios every time you ride regardless of changes in ambient conditions so all you have to do is ride and enjoy!

Adding a Thundermax to my 2009 Fatboy next week. Sick of the back throttle popping, and sluggish acceleration. I have spent hours viewing the website and link. I am now convinced Thundermax compared to SE is the better option - Thanks for the recommendation Shane @t Heavy Duty Motorcycle, Brisbane, Australia .

An air cooled engine can greatly benefit from a lower idle speed. The engine will make less heat at a slower speed but there are several factors to concider. Anyone attempting to lower their idle needs to consider stability in: Oil Pressure, Charging voltage and Idle smoothness

You will find hundreds of You Tube videos from around the world highlighting slow idle in speeds of 550-650 rpm. Our approach would be more conservative, with speeds in the 700-800 rpm, to provide a good balance of all above-listed concerns. In most cases lower idle speed using a ThunderMax system will yield the smoothest idle, which your engine will love.

Ive had a custom map installed by a dynotuner through a CERT , i think the idle is slighly fast for my liking. Can i install a thundermax and will it fix the idle (among the other obvious advantages)?

I have seen many Thundermax users drop their rpm to below 600 rpm (560+) on Youtube. Is this advisable or would you recommend 1000+ rpm?
