About Me:
Enough is enough, let's do this!
Age: 30
Height: 6'0"
Joe's Journey Outline:
#1 - My initial goal, which was very aggressive, was to lose 50LBS by my 29th birthday on February 17th, 2010. I began this journey on December 30th, 2009 and I FAILED, losing roughly 35 pounds.
#2 - My next goal, beginning 2/18/10, was to drop below 300 LBS on or before July 2nd, 2010. I accomplished this goal on June 25th, 2010!
#3 - After taking some time off and gaining a few pounds back, I set my sights on a new challenge, dropping down to 287.5 LBS by January 1st, 2011. I failed to meet this deadline.
***#4 - Since July of 10' I've managed to maintain my weight pretty easily.***
Country:
United States
Occupation:
Owner, Strength Squared LLC
Schools:
Both a B.S. and M.S. in Sport and Exercise Science
Interests:
I enjoy long walks through the ghetto with lots of cash on me. I enjoy parasailing even though I have never done it before. I am adventurous, I like to drive without my headlights on at night. Some say I'm kind of stubborn, but after a couple hits of morphine, I'm pretty agreeable. I enjoy poetry, but not the kind that rhymes. Rhyming poetry gives me gas and that's no fun for anyone.
Movies:
Kick-Ass, Amelie, Into the Wild, Requiem for a Dream, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Trainspotting, American Beauty, Equilibrium, Gladiator, Braveheart, Glory, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Garden State, The Thing, Super Troopers, Office Space, Memento, The Fugitive, Vanilla Sky, The Shawshank Redemption, Seven, American History X, Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Magnolia, Good Will Hunting, Layer Cake, 25th Hour, The Dark Knight, The Last of the Mohicans, Big Trouble in Little China, SLC Punk!, Lost in Translation, Swingers, Aliens, Man on Fire, The Thin Red Line, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Groundhog Day, Heat, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Music:
Radiohead, NIN, Tool, Muse, APC, The Deftones, Yann Tiersen and a lot of other stuff I can't think of at the moment.
Books:
Most anything by Ayn Rand, Richard Dawkins, Chuck Palahniuk, Max Brooks, Stephen King, Aldous Huxley, Philip K. Dick, and Jon Krakauer.
