I love the toy reviews
There was a similar product back in 1997 that was sold in toys r us. I can't remember the doll's name but it wore a pink pajama outfit and would sometimes say "ABC". The eyes would blink and the mouth would move. But it was HORRIBLY posssed. When the batteries were going dead or almost dead the baby would make an "uuuuuuuuuuuhnnnnnnnnnnn" sound and the voice would go really deep!
Thing that creeped me out the most when I finally took out the batteries (after unscrewing the back first) it would STILL make the noise for about 10 seconds then stop.
Scared me priceless as a kid!
