That is it, the end, my cornet goes back in its case, never to be played again.
Just joking, but that was brilliant, I just hope some day to be a bit nearer to a quarter the player that he is, and that will be an achievement.

Quite a few turning, (sorry bad pun) to wooden trumpets it seems, however don't knock wood, the Swiss have been making alpine horns long enough to know how to get a superb tone, I have played a few notes through one and know it is so.

The relay of the Kink was the year I joined the railway, the other section at Sylfain not sure about. I recognise a lot of those faces, Poona, Fritz, and one or two more, too many of those guys are no longer with us and a sad loss for the railway.
Good to see the Drewry pre back cab steps too.

Most brass instrument repair shops use something similar, the trick is the right size of ball, it should be just smaller than the tube diameter. Even so, small outward denting left by the ball will go with a curved burnishing tool between waxed paper and grease.
I do 'em myself.

Mr Rossini himself perhaps? Would you like your favourite creation messed about like this?
the other was a cockney!!
Personally, I love it when anyone does something humorous with any music so one of the many likes comes from me.

And that folks is about as fast anyone can play a brass instrument. Top bands in the championship section can only do as good, certainly not better. One of these days, I might just get to be half as fast as that, and be happy.
This though is typical of the humour, and musicianship of Mnozil Brass...

Good stuff there, us left handers should unite against the right handers and show them we are better. Jimi Hendrix did OK, so too Paul McCartney who no doubt was playing on the original of that song.
A beautiful piece played extremely well by this young lady, although this was recorded a couple of years ago now, there are other pieces on here from her as she is now a little older. She will go far with such a gift.
Oh and for those mocking the embouchure and slightly off centre of the mouthpie...
