it worked for my WD 2TB external hard drive. it formatted it to fat32. my PS3 fatboy reads it just fine, BUT our other PS3 slims won't read it, WHY?

The program did format my WD 2TB external hard drive to fat32, thanks. We have 1 Playstation 3 fatboy and 2 Playstation 3 slims. The fatboy reads the new fat32 formatted hard drive, BUT the slims won't read it, WHY!!!!!
