I was aboard the ISS the other day and saw a spectacular view of Mother Earth, thanks to Father Space! When we see the world as it really is and not as others try to make us see it then we begin to become free as the child we once were. Free to take off the masks of senseless conformity and mindless excessive inhibition! You need to learn how to make others laugh by doing and/or communicating things which do not mock others but which empower others to see the idiocracy they have unwittingly helped build. If you avoid viewing the world your world view will be just as skewed as if you simply take a passive-minded, non-critical view of the world! Seeing is not believing; illusions are religion!
	TheFreeAdviceMan (1 day ago) For the purpose of monitoring general activity in public areas so as to: a. discourage criminals, b. aid investigations into serious crimes, c. observe threatening objects placement I think CCTV is a good thing. But for the purpose of using it as Prima Face evidence in a court of law I think CCTV should be the last resort! Crime prevention, detection and investigation are essential for us to have any liberties at all. The last thing we should want is to make it easier for thugs and mobsters to control public areas!

The problem is the ability of both still-shots and moving images to be manipulated and thus the ethical inadmissability of audio-visual evidence as the sole form or even prima-face form of evidence in a court of law. My concern is not about the cameras, but about the fact that nobody is watching the watchers on behalf of US! Eventually cameras will become small and virtually invisible...and then what?!?! < I wrote this to someone concerning CCTV abuse.

People assume things about other people without knowing what has caused them to be the way they are. People dismiss the plight of other people because they have not experienced the same injustices. The same goes for the official towards the civilian, the civilian towards the soldier, all others towards others. How then can we have true peace, true compassion, true love for humanity...if we live by our own myths?

	TheFreeAdviceMan (3 days ago) Wrong! Al Gore is right, but OPEC and its rich Oil Cartel friends have spent hundreds of millions in an effort to confuse people! Alternative energy and transportation technologies would already be commonplace if they had not managed to derail the 2000 elections! Negative impact global climate changes are a serious threat. While a Carbon tax is not the best way to help reduce the threat and ZPG would be even better this effort to get global man-made CO2 emissions lowered is better than nothing.
