I click options then tick Remote override edit mode. ( is that correct? )
But what do i link the pads to?
the Channel 1 play button?
this works, i hit the pad & i can hear the kick, but how do i record it?!

or am i doing it ALL wrong?

can you please tell me how do you record your voice in your in your daw and still start and stop other sounds in the same daw. i used pro tools so can you tell me how can i hook that up? PLEASE
