AVPM INFO:

This fan musical is produced and performed solely for the personal, non-commercial enjoyment of ourselves and other Harry Potter fans. It is in no way sponsored, approved, endorsed by or affiliated with J.K. Rowling or Warner Bros. or any of their affiliates.

The show was written and produced in early 2009 by a bunch of college kids/recent grads through a non-profit student-run theatre company. It was a free show that ran for three nights (five performances).

The show was a completely non-for-profit unofficial parody show made by fans for fans. All of us involved love the books immensely (and strongly encourage everyone to read them if you haven't) and it is with the utmost admiration that we celebrate and poke fun at them with this musical inspired by our very favorite stories.

LWL INFO:

In the summer of 2007 (two years before AVPM) the team that would eventually become StarKid made a web-series called "Little White Lie". Below is a list of some of the main cast members. Check the credits at the end of each episode for full cast and credits.

For those of you familiar with AVPM, you may notice that "Sami" is the same song as "Harry". "Sami" is the original version, written by Darren Criss for LWL. When we were making AVPM (which was put togther in about three weeks), we wanted Ginny to sing a love ballad about the oblivious Harry. The "Sami" song fit what we were going for, so we decided to recycle it. Little did we know that people would eventually see both versions.

And many people have written to us asking when season 2 of LWL is coming out. As of right now, there is no season 2. We made the show while we still in college and we've all graduated and dispersed across the country since, so season 2 seems a bit unlikely to happen as of now, but we'll see. We love Sami and Duder, so perhaps their adventures aren't over yet...
