Right now we're featuring a video about the Spark program -- it includes footage of a student and his Apprentice Teacher talking about their experience with the Spark program.

Spark is a youth empowerment program engaging students with apprenticeships, exploratory workshops, field trips, and leadership training. Spark's mission is to inspire middle-school youth to pursue their interests, create bonds with their communities, and develop a lifelong passion for learning.

Spark is offered as both a full-day summer program and a after-school program for middle-school youth in the Bay Area. Student and Volunteer applications are available on our website.

All sessions share three main components:
1. Apprenticeships
2. Workshops & Field Trips
3. Leadership Training
