It's the ultimate buddy movie. Forty years ago, on November 19, 1969, astronauts Pete Conrad and Alan Bean walked on the moon in what may be the most important of the six Apollo moon missions. They made a pinpoint landing on a treacherous lunar surface, found rocks that have revealed the Moon's strange birth, and had a blast.
