I'm just an "ordinary" guy, a nobody just like everybody else :) In truth, I'm an emergent being... consciously evolving. I'm searching within to find balance and harmony. When seeking answers I try to keep my mind open, empty, void of thought or judgement. In a world of duality we must find unity. As above, so below. As within, so without. Any reality is an opinion. To reconnect with Spirit (Love) you must quiet the mind. Do not let it distract you from what is. Realize that you are your own saviour. Love and help others rather than embracing your "ego". Unfortunately, people often fall into this ego trap and get stuck. They try to live according to a self image and act superior. Remember, this mentality is only in service to self (the illusion of self). We're all on our way home. If there were no potential for misunderstanding, there would be no experience. Become more of what you already are. Understand that you do not know everything. Appreciate that you are connected to everything.

In the philosophy of Zen there is a term called "Beginner's Mind". Essentially it is where we attempt to go back to the beginning of something; a state of "focused openness" where our preconceptions, and everything we think we already know about something are temporarily set aside. It is often used when we feel we have reached a plateau of thought or come up against a brick wall and need to look at something anew. It is to become timeless in our thinking, to unburden ourselves of our fixedness, our presumptions, even our prejudices, in the hope of finding fresh perspective or insight.
