The Skidmore College community garden is a resource for the Skidmore community to learn about sustainable agriculture and organic farming. In this video, the garden manager, Eliza Hollister '15, and sustainability coordinator, Levi Rogers, discuss the design process of the garden and the impact it is having on campus.
Skidmore attracts brains of all kinds: science brains, literary brains, artistic brains, and math brains. But those brains are of one mind. They are Skidmore Minds. The Skidmore Mind can be defined by its sensibilities more than its capabilities. Those sensibilities set it apart from many others and include: passion, curiosity, awareness, tenacity, courage, and confidence. We would like to take you on a journey through the Skidmore Mind and help you understand if your mind may, in fact, be a Skidmore Mind. Beyond your ability to think in numbers, pictures, or words, is there something inside you that will not pick one path, take one side, or settle for half?
