About this user

I have been teaching guitar for something like 38 years. In 1995 I also started training others to teach guitar and set up a website at http://www.teachguitar.com especially to help guitar players become good guitar teachers. Through that site I have helped several thousand people break away from their tedious day jobs and become committed high-quality guitar teachers.

Then in May 2011 I launched http://www.secretguitarteacher.com with a view to sharing a lifetime's worth of guitar teaching and learning tricks with the online community.

I live in the UK currently, but am looking forward to moving to the French Alps in a few months time.

I love music of almost all kinds, but have a strong leaning towards Blues and Jazz..

My favourite artists range from Bob Dylan and Johhny Cash all the way back to Django Reinhardt and Charlie Christian and all the way forward to guys like Jim Campilongo and Bruce Cockburn.

I love learning new stuff and helping others over the jumps and through the hoops of learning guitar.
