True Satanic Black Metal from Switzerland
About Me:
On August 1st 2002 the band transformed from Helvete to Mountain King which was more representative of the band and the area where Satorius was from; the mountains of Lucerne, Switzerland. Satorius brought in Venefizius to perform guitar. After the end of the recording sessions of the debut album "Gotos Antichristus", Satorius and Venefizius parted ways in 2005 because of musical differences.
Satorius is already in the recording process with the 2nd CD "Gotos' Bloodbath". He composed some new songs with titles like "Set's Triumphant Return", "Invocation to Satan ArchDaimon", "Burn the Cross", "Armageddon 2012, "Annihillation of the Mullahs", "Angel of Death and Mayhem (Bloodbath in Parad ise)", "Apophis - The Bringer of Death", "Mirseil Bhriain Borumha (The March of Brian Boru)", "Jarl Widar (Der Uralte)" and "Roisin Dubh (Black Rose)" (a Thin Lizzy cover version!).
Evilution
Satorius, a true legend and cult figure, has been active in the Swiss Satanist and Black Metal movement since the beginning of the eighties. At the Walpurgisnacht in 1989 Satorius founded the black metal band DER FÜHRER together with Pete Gilbert. This was his first own band.
In autumn 1993 Satorius joined the Swiss Satanic black metal pioneers AMON. AMON's first MCD "The Shining Trapezohedron" was released some months before as a self produced record.
In the spring of 1994, AMON played in the new line up (Reto Jäger: Guitars and Vocals, Dan B. Zahed: Guitars, Pete Schuler: Drums and Satorius: Bass) together with SAMAEL at an international happening about Satanism in Zurich (with J. Dvorak, Prof. Nägeli, H.R. Giger), their first concert.
Also in the spring of 1994, Satorius founded HELVETE as a solo project. In the summer of 1994, Satorius recorded the first HELVETE demo "Total Armageddon!".
In the summer of 1995, Satorius recorded the "Shemhamforash!" CD with AMON. "Shemhamforash!" was released in 1996 on Witchhunt Records.
In autumn, 1995, Dan B. Zahed and Satorius filmed the TV documentation "Satanic Creeds" for the Swiss television SF1 with German director Matt Vain. "Satanic Creeds" has also been transmitted on 3Sat and RAI. In Schaffhausen at the fortress Munot, the group filmed a video clip (also with director Matt Vain) of the song "Eternal Darkness and Winter Storms" from the SHEMHAMFORASH album.
Satorius was responsible for the Satanic concept and the spectacular show effects of AMON. AMON played several concerts with SAMAEL, DEICIDE, CRADLE OF FILTH, LUCIFERION, ANCIENT RITES and other known acts. Satorius had its last gig with AMON in summer 1996 at the now legendary Black Metal Open Air in Medewitz. Later in the same year he recorded the second HELVETE Demo "Macht ist Recht!".
Satorius left AMON in spring 1997 and together with Reto Jäger, his old mate and comrade in AMON, founded the Death Metal Band KORRAH. By the way, the second guitarist was Tom Kuzmic, known today by the Death Metal Band DISPARAGED. In summer 1998 KORRAH recorded the Demo "Reign in Pain!".
In Walpurgisnacht 1999 Satorius has founded the Black Order of Lucifer. Many of his writings can be downloaded for free on the home page of the Black Order of Lucifer.
