Since 1999, the Satellite Theological Education Program (STEP) at the University of Notre Dame has offered quality theological education to pastoral ministers and other adult Catholics across the country. Conducted via the Internet, STEP provides a wide variety of adult faith formation opportunities.

STEP is a part of Notre Dames Institute for Church Life (ICL). The Institute exists as an integral component of the University's larger mission of teaching, research, and service to society and to the Church. It reaches out to the whole spectrum of Church leaders, both ordained and lay, to provide training and service as well as opportunities for spiritual rejuvenation and personal growth.

STEP accomplishes its mission with continuing education e-Courses, for-credit courses, and a Catholic lecture series. For more details please visit our home page-- http://step.nd.edu/
