Basically the difference between a private company or co-operative company and a corporation is in my opinion and in the opinion of many scholars that a corporation is the definition of a company (often large) owned by (more or less anonymous) stock owners and something that is a legal person it its own right - meaning that its owners aren't responsible for its actions. Just so you don't think that I am against private companies in principle!

Why not go back to christian morals (and I say that as an agnostic/atheist), owning as much as you can work and enforcing that. Like it was back in America once a upon a time in its early societies. Farmers, carpenters, etc. And big industry can be owned by co-operatives, competing in a free market and workers getting a lower wage for the first 5 or 10 years before they have accumulated enough hours to gain a single stock in the company. A proof of ownership and partnership.

Did you know that in america corporations were basically illegal until the mid 18th century when they were momentarily allowed to build the grand trans-continental railway that a single company couldnt do on their own. More and more it became a norm.

I slept 3 hours last night, and I lost 1000 dollars today.
