From the Control Systems Engineering Textbook
One of the strongest endorsements of Quanser rotary experiments come from their selection for use in "Control Systems Engineering" - the most widely adopted textbook for core control courses in mechanical, electrical and other engineering programs. In the sixth edition of the textbook, author Norman S. Nise included virtual experiments, powered by LabVIEW, that allow students to manipulate Quanser's simulated lab plants and view realistic response behavior.
Here is a preview of how Prof. Nise integrated the hands-on component in his text to help deepen students' learning experience and better prepare them for lab work. Users of the textbook can access the virtual experiments presented in the text through Wiley, the publisher of the book. The actual hardware shown in these videos is available through Quanser.
