This video, produced by The Slanted Lens, compares Rosco’s range of Fog Fluids and the effects that they produce.
Rosco Fog Fluid – produces thick, billowing clouds of fog that will hang in the air for a long time. It’s a good choice for large, open locations and for shooting outdoors.
Rosco Light Fog Fluid – produces a thinner, more translucent fog effect that turns into a haze much quicker – yet maintains a long hangtime.
Stage & Studio – produces a thick, fog effect, but it dissipates quickly. It’s great for shoots where you need fog in one shot, but need it to cleared out for the next. Stage & Studio is also a great fluid for creating a low-lying effect with a Rosco Coldflow or homemade chiller box indoors.
