Record of my fennec foxes & cats.

I have been breeding the fennec for about 11 years.　And, I am living with 2　fennecs now. I am not a breeder of the fennec. I will not hybridize them. Of course, the fennec is not sold. I lives with them as family's member.

They are not wild animals. It is a fox tamed as a pet. In my country, they are sold by the pet shop, and they are loved as a pet in a lot of houses. There is a breeder of the fennec within the country, too. Though I do not know the law concerning them in other countries,　it is not illegal to breed them in my country.

As for my fox, one came from a domestic breeder. other one came from foreign countries, certain details are not understood.　The fennec to live together now is 8 years old(male:Turbo) and 9 years old(female:Suponji). A male fennec came to my home with in the first 1 months of life. A female fennec came to my home with before one reaches its first birthday.

I am supplying dry dog food to them as staple food. Dry food is basically supplied though the cat food including the Taurine might be supplied. The vegetable and the meat and poultry boiled additionally might be given.　Because they are canines, it has the habit of looking like the dog of the concealment of remaining food etc.　Therefore, the unexpected one appears from unusual places when cleaning it, and I am surprised.

There are some cages only for them. The door of the cage is always open, and they go in and out freely. And, they play in wherever you like in the room, and are sleeping.

There is person who has various opinions about them. I do not intend to discuss "Whether is it good to keep the fennec or not" and "Wild animals so and so".

The person who is breeding the fennec, the person who is scheduled to be going to keep in the future, and all people who love them.
