This is a trailer for a classic TV tribute series due for completion in November 2008 (sorry about the late finish date folks, but my software crashed, so I'm borrowing someelse's as often as I can, but the wait will be worth it).
Although not all of my favourite shows could be included in this video due to the sheer number of them, most of them are. I chose this Louis Armstrong classic, as I think it's the perfect description of fictional TV - A WONDERFUL WORLD - in which we all lovingly take part in to either escape the stress and boredom of our everyday lives, or to celebrate our World's beautifully imaginative culture.
So sit back and enjoy some of my favourites from the last 50 years of Television.

This video is a mix of all the 'official' titles and themes from Doctor Who, as well as one unofficial one for the 8th Doctor (that my brother phil94b has already uploaded on YouTube previously), and the face of every Doctor.
The title's a bit arrogant I know, but I spent two months of my free time making and perfecting this video. I've also put in some extra touches to give myself a sense of achievement and to make it more enjoyable than the usual title mix. I apologuise in advance for the lack in audio and video quality. The mix was so long and big that I had to significantly downgrade just so I could upload it onto YouTube. The audio of the themes may also sound a bit strange as I've pitch and tempo-shifted each theme arrangement (within reason) so it matched that of the original Delia Derbyshire 1963 arrangement (unfortunately the theme from the TV movie was impossible to tempo-shift without dire results).
Please note: this is a title mix, not a title compilation so none of the titles and themes presented here are exactly as they were on their original transmission. Special thanks to every person involved in the making of these original titles and themes, for which this video alone would not be possible (there's too many to mention specific names), and of course the main inspiration of many a video here on YouTube - Doctor Who.
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video. I hope enjoyed watching it as much as I did making it.

We've already seen the Doctor Who multi-doctor episode "Time Crash" from 10th Doctor's perspective. This is a special edition version of the episode specifically from the 5th Doctor's perspective.
However, this isn't a completely new idea, as jwitchell88 aired a video of it first using Mawdryn Undead. The online Doctor Who forums settled on Mawdryn Undead as the mostly likely episode to be around Time Crash. However, if you think about the references made during the episode - Nyssa, Tegan, The Master, Mara, Timelords, and Cybermen - the episode could take place anytime between the end of the Arc of Infinity and Mawdryn Undead. Unfortunately though, I forgot about the Timelord reference and as you can see from the video, settled on the infamous Time-Flight for my video. Still, despite this one big mistake, I made a good effort to make it work with editing, mixed in model sequences and a 'next time' trailer to finish it off. Unfortunately the final edit of the video was 13 and a half minutes long, so I had to edit it into 2 parts especially for YouTube.
So although it's a bit of a mistake, I hope you enjoy the offerings of my efforts once more, and try to imagine if this video actually worked and was in canon.
PS. This is the ORIGINAL video as put up by the ORIGINAL producer. Please recognise that all other appearances of this video are FAKE.
P.S. Yes unfortunately, there was no way to get the hat to appear through all of the episode as there are no shots of Davison wearing the hat for any reasonable period in the TARDIS that could have fitted in the video convincingly enough. Trying to would only look even more silly, and the video much less smooth and professional.

My fourth James Bond Gunbarrel. This is more of an epic version I imagined for Die Another Day, and as such it was a bit more complicated to make.
The music is a mix of one incidental phrase from Licence to Kill by Michael Kamen, and two separate pieces of action music from the Die Another Day soundtrack by David Arnold.
I once thought of a real Bond Gunbarrel being made in this way - much more dramatic with a big entrance for the Bond theme and gunshot; and actually speaking for myself I think it's an improvement on the original, although the gunbarrel's musical resolution is much more lighter in tone than I intended.
Anyway, I hope you like it!

What if...we never heard of the genius of Delia Derbyshire, Peter Howell, or even Murray G
What if...we never heard of the genius of Delia Derbyshire, Peter Howell, or even Murray Gold. What if the Dr Who themes we all grew up to love were by different people. This is a video displaying how the released unofficial Doctor Who themes have changed throughout the decades.
This video is a sequel for all those wonderful people who loved my 'Ultimate Doctor Who title mix'. Almost all of the video is the same as the aforementioned title mix, but I tried to make it more interesting by including different material from the 1st and 2nd Dr's title sequence tests, and a different colour approach for the video's conclusion.
As I'm a fan of the Doctor Who theme as well as the programme, I often collect unofficial theme releases as well as the official ones. So I thought it would be fun to create a video showing the unofficial face and sound of Doctor Who through theme music covers by Compilation albums and Bands like Orbital, who are fans of the programme.
I've used ten different arrangements of the theme, looking for as many different variations as I could find. I'm aware there are a few more out there, a couple of which I have, but I tried to reflect the best ones in the video.
Hope you enjoy it!
P.S. There's been many requests as to what each theme version is, so I decided to permanently list them in the description here. They are as follows:
1st Dr - Dr. Who - Eric Winstone & His Orchestra
2nd Dr - Dr. Who - Don Harper's Homo Electronicus
3rd Dr - "Who is the Doctor" - Sung by Jon Pertwee, Theme performed by Rupert Hine
4th Dr - Dr. Who - Geoff Love & His Orchestra
late 4th Dr/5th Dr - Dr.Who: Cosmic Remix - Mankind
6th Dr - Doctor Who: Terror Version - Dominic Glynn
7th Dr - Doctorin' the TARDIS (Instrumental) - The Timelords/The KLF
8th Dr - Dr.Who - Mark Ayres
9th Dr - Dr.Who - The London Theatre Orchestra
10th Dr - Doctor? - Orbital

An alternative slant on the Doctor Who titles of the mini-episode TIME CRASH shown back on
An alternative slant on the Doctor Who titles of the mini-episode TIME CRASH shown back on November 16th (2007).
On this occasion the titles are styled on those of the 5th Doctor, burrowing the majority of the title elements from that classic 80s title sequence, and include a starfield for the 10th Doctor's face with a slightly extended version of Peter Howell's immortal arrangement of the opening theme.
(Unfortunately I lost the 80s Dr Who font so I couldn't use it here, but I try to find it for later videos.)
Hope you enjoy it!

Since my Time Crash videos, I've had quite a few requests to redo the 10th Doctor title sequence, but I couldn't think of how to make it look like a new, and original video, without just copying what's been done before, until I put Murray Gold's new Doctor Who theme arrangement to that of Peter Howell's that I'd already re-mixed recently a few months earlier. After tweaking both themes, so that they could both fit with each other, I then edited the new series 4 titles around it, adding, of course, the 10th Doctor's face, and an extra twist on the logo.
To give the sequence some context, I put it into the opening of Planet of the Ood (Doctor Who, New Series 4), shown in the UK on the 21st of April 2008.
Sit back and enjoy my efforts once more.
