Reclaiming Futures helps young people in trouble with drugs, alcohol, and crime. The project began in 2001, with $21 million from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) for 10 pilot sites to create a six-step model that promotes new standards of care and opportunities in juvenile justice. The Reclaiming Futures model is now in 26 communities, thanks to investments from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, the federal Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).
