Xbox 360 has got better online, but you have to pay for it.
PlayStation 3 offers free online but it gives a lot of problems.
Xbox 360 hasn´t got BluRay, WiFi or Bluetooth.
PlayStation 3 comes with all that but it iss more expensive
Because Xbox 360 hasn´t got BluRay, sometimes you need various discs to play.
PlayStation 3 needs the support of the hard drive when it has to load games that occupy a lot of space because it reads in 2X and instead of changing of disc, it needs the help of the hard drive to read the BluRay unit.
PlayStation 3 has got BluRay, so you can watch films in High Definition.
On the other hand, if you connect to Xbox 360 a Hard Drive, pendrive or USB memory with films in DivX HD you can also watch films in High Definition, although it doesn´t have optic format.
PlayStation 3 has got a better processor, because it has the chipcell, but it hasn´t got any real use at the moment.
Xbox 360 has got a three core processor
PlayStation 3 has got two cores of RAM of 256MB
.Xbox 360 has got a 512MB core.
BOTH can give you problems, Xbox 360 has got the 3 rings of death, and PS3 has got problems with the and also the yellow Light, it depends of luck and if you aren´t careful when you use them.
And in multiplatform games, Xbox 360 has got a better definition, and I know that because of self experience (here you´ve got a full review about it in my blog http://craker.wordpress.com/2009/04/2...
PlayStation 3 has the possibility of using computer controllers, steering wheels, web cams, etc.
Xbox 360 hasn´t got any.
Xbox 360 comes with a headset to talk online.
With PlayStation 3 you need to buy a headset, and they cost about 40€.
PlayStation 3 has got the possibility to install operative Systems and tu plug in printers, but the bad parto f it is that it reduces the capacity of your Hard Drive tu 10GB for videogames and 10GB for the Operative System.
Xbox 360 can´t.
Xbox 360 has got backwards compatibility with most of the games of Xbox.
The actual PlayStation 3´s haven´t got backwards compatibility with PS2, but the 60GB one it can.
With PlayStation 3 you can change it´s Hard Drive capacity without spending a lot of Money, because you can put a sata disc of 2.5 inches.
With Xbox 360 if you want a bigger Hard Drive, you have to pay a lot for one of 120 GB.
Although PS3 is the one that they say that you can watch in HD in your PS3, it comes with a euroconector when you buy it, so you´ll have to spend an extra money to watch in HD.
Xbox 360 (the Pro Pack or Premium) comes with component video (Y/Pb/Pr),(and the Xbox 360 Elite pack) comes with component video (Y/Pb/Pr) and HDMI.
PS3 has got the possibility of finding multimedia servers.
Xbox 360 has got the possibility of connecting itself to a computer to visualize all your content with Media Center.
PS3 has got Internet browser.
Xbox 360 has got Messenger.
Both consoles have mistakes and good things, stop fanboyism.
