Promise is a group of three sisters that perform their own original American Pop music, as well as some original songs in partial or full Japanese that are dedicated to their like for Japanese culture. They also sing Anime covers for fun =)

Leanne, Vanessa and Melinda Finnegan got their start in performing by attending Anime conventions at a very young age. Their love for music, as well as an interest in Japnese Anime and culture, lead them to start their group, "The Promise Sisters". They began by just singing covers of Anime songs at Anime conventions, then branched out to write their own music in English, as well as few songs in Japanese.

Since their debut the have performed at many venues in NYC including DROM and Top Tunes. They appeared in "New York Wave", a documentary about singer Reni Mimura, which aired in Japan on the NHK on March 7th. They also were featured on a page in Reni Mimura's picture book.

Since they started performing their own original music they have been guests at:
