Joe Brignoli Bio:
Joe Brignoli is one of the most experienced martial arts consultants in the industry, having managed 6 different martial arts schools before opening a chain of 7 locations of his own. Joe and his 23 instructor staff boasted 1500 superior quality students, averaging over $1 million gross.

He currently trains strictly MMA, but began his martial arts career with Taekwondo at age 6, and began teaching at 13. In 26 years, Joe has trained in everything from TKD to Issinryu, and from Muay Thai to BJJ, with over 130 championships, and dozens of Thai Boxing fights. But its the teaching experience that makes Joe perhaps the best person in the industry to design a martial arts curriculum.

Throughout the 90s, Joe was fortunate enough to manage six different martial arts schools in NJ, each from a different style and business model. This allowed him to witness many different curriculum and business concepts, along with the short and long-term ramifications that these decisions had on students from the inside. Much of his success as a martial arts school owner is attributed to the curriculum and business systems he designed from this experience.

Joe then added a vast array of sales experience to his repertoire - he sold stocks, motorcycles, cars, gym memberships, and even sold $10k investments to help two companies go public.

After a brief stint in the military, trying (unsuccessfully) to be a Navy SEAL Joe Brignoli took all this teaching, business, sales, and martial arts experience to Florida to open schools of his own originally in Palm Beach and now in the Tampa Bay region. To date, Joe has been part of at least 11 different major curriculum overhauls: Three as a student, six as an instructor/ manager, and two as a school owner. This experience alone makes Joe Brignoli perhaps the best choice in coaching school owners through the difficult process of curriculum re-design.

It was during this time that Joe began to envision an organization of martial arts schools that takes the organized discipline, respect and progressive ranking system from traditional martial arts and coupled it with modern Mixed Martial Arts. Each school was to use his business model and revolve around the goal of opening multiple locations using privately owned health clubs as launching platforms. This was a prelude of what was to come with Pro-Star MMA.

A former NAPMA Consultant, he is now Senior Consultant for MATA, and CEO/ sole owner of Pro-Star Mixed Martial Arts, the first licensed system-introducing MMA to the masses. Joe's consulting specializes in staff management for multiple school operations and advanced membership sales.

Today, Joe manages the enitre chain of schools part of the Pro-Star MMA system and coaches martial arts school owners around the world in private consulting sessions.
