Značka Praga byla založena v roce 1907 a je jedním z nejstarších výrobců automobilů v České republice. Před druhou světovou válkou, byla největším výrobcem automobilů, a poté, vzhledem k poškození továrny, bohužel musela zastavit výrobu. Posléze se Praga začala specializovat ve výrobě náhradních dílů pro automobily. V období od roku 1996 do roku 2003, Praga vyráběla motokros a enduro motocykly. Zatímco dvoutakt PRAGA ED 250 byl úspěšný jak komerčně, tak i v závodech, zejména v USA, čtyřtaktní ED 430 a ED 610 sklízel úspěchy na mistrovství Evropy enduro.

Pod vedením Petra Ptáčka se Praga začala ve spolupráci s Intrepid Karting International realizovat v kartingovém světě. Majitel společnosti Petr Ptáček má dlouhou historii a vášeň pro karting a závodění. Bylo to jeho vizí, aby se značka Praga stala úspěšnou v kartingovém světě a ve spolupráci s Intrepidem, se Praga rychle stala jednou z nejlepších značek motokár. Praga motokáry jsou konstruovány ve stejně skvělé kvalitě jako Intrepid, což je prvním krokem, který Pragu posunuje blíže k závodění ve formulích.

Jen v prvním roce Praga sestavila dva špičkové týmy v České Republice (Praga Sumako a RF Kart Sport), a spojila své síly s německým týmem M-Tec Racing. V rámci jezdeckého programu (Drivers Program) se podařilo do svých řad získat holandskou závodnice Beitske Visser, která má již v 16 letech pověst skvělé řidičky.

Zkušenosti, dokonalost a kvalita Intrepidu v kombinaci s inovací Pragy je výherní zárukou, která bude dominovat v kartingu jak na trati, tak i mimo ni.

The Praga brand was established in 1907, and is one of the oldest car manufacturers in the Czech Republic. Before World War II, it was the largest manufacturer of automobiles, and afterwards, due to the damage done to the factory, it unfortunately had to cease production. It then began building back up, specializing in the production of spare parts for automobiles. In the period from 1996 until 2003, Praga produced motocross and Enduro motorbikes. While the two-stroke PRAGA ED 250 were successful commercially and in racing, especially in the US, the four-stroke ED 430 and ED 610 were successful in the European Enduro Championship.

Finally, under the direction of Petr Ptacek, Praga has moved into the karting arena with its partnership with Intrepid Karting International. Praga owner Petr Ptacek has a long history and passion for karting and racing. It was his vision to bring the Praga brand into karting, and through the partnership with Intrepid, Praga has quickly become part of the best brand in karting. Praga karts are made to the same standards of quality and excellence as Intrepid, and this partnership is only the first step on the way to top formula racing.

Only in its first year of karting, Praga has already solidified two top teams in the Czech Republic (Praga Sumako and RF Kart Sport), as well as joining forces with German team M-Tec Racing. Under the Intrepid Driver Program, Praga has gained Dutch driver Beitske Visser, who has already made a name for herself in karting, and is poised to go far with the Praga brand.

The experience, excellence and quality of Intrepid, and the innovation of Praga is a winning combination that will dominate karting both on and off the track.
